About Acetylcholine

人體的動作主要是由大腦「傳遞信號」到肌肉，當我們想要使肌肉運動收縮時，神經纖維末梢會釋放一種叫做「乙醯膽鹼」的神經傳導物質來使得肌肉收縮或腺體分泌。

The body's movements are primarily controlled by the brain, which "transmits signals" to the muscles. When we want to initiate muscle contraction, the nerve fiber terminals release a neurotransmitter called "acetylcholine," which causes the muscles to contract or the glands to secrete.

在未施打Dysport之前，正常的肌肉神經接合處會釋放「乙醯膽鹼」，這一過程刺激肌肉的收縮，其具體步驟如下：

末梢神經內含有多個裝有乙醯膽鹼的「突觸囊泡」。
這些囊泡會與SNAP-25蛋白結合。
囊泡被運送至神經末端，並與細胞膜融合。
當囊泡中的乙醯膽鹼被釋放後，會與肌肉受體結合，傳遞神經訊息，進而引發肌肉收縮。

Before the administration of Dysport, the normal neuromuscular junction releases acetylcholine, a process that stimulates muscle contraction. The specific steps are as follows:

The peripheral nerve contains multiple "synaptic vesicles" filled with acetylcholine.
These vesicles bind to the SNAP-25 protein.
The vesicles are transported to the nerve terminal and fuse with the cell membrane.
Once acetylcholine is released from the vesicles, it binds to muscle receptors, transmitting nerve signals and leading to muscle contraction.

Dysport截斷了SNAP-25複合蛋白，阻止神經傳導物質乙醯膽鹼的釋放，因此神經訊號不會命令肌肉產生收縮，使肌肉逐漸放鬆。

Dysport cleaves the SNAP-25 complex protein, preventing the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Consequently, nerve signals do not instruct the muscles to contract, leading to a gradual relaxation of the muscles.
